Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 7xContent is a fast-growing podcast production & growth agency, and they are seeking a Podcast Producer to enhance the growth of high-profile podcasts across various platforms. The role involves managing the production of podcast episodes, collaborating with clients, and utilizing data to improve show performance.
Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end delivery of 1 podcast episode
• Generate strong episode ideas, hooks, and briefs
• Shape episode structure, pacing, and narrative
• Brief editors clearly on edits, trailers, and clips
• Review edits and give decisive, high-quality feedback
• Contribute titles, thumbnail direction, and packaging ideas
• Track performance and suggest improvements week-on-week
• Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients on your shows, communicating clearly, confidently, and proactively
Skills
• Is genuinely podcast and content obsessed
• Has strong editorial taste and instinct
• Understands what drives performance on YouTube, Spotify, and social
• Is data-literate and comfortable reviewing analytics
• Is highly organised and strong at prioritisation
• Can manage 1–2 clients without dropping standards
• Defaults to believing problems are solvable
• Is proactive, resourceful, and decisive
• Is a clear and confident communicator
• Is comfortable managing client relationships and expectations
