Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Moore is a data-driven constituent experience management company that focuses on integrated supporter experiences. The QA Engineer will be responsible for testing software applications and ensuring quality standards, including validating data accuracy and software functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our database and software applications
- Identify, document, track data and software defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, severity, screenshots, query outputs, or supporting evidence, and work with the development team to resolve issues
- Create, maintain, and execute automated tests using various testing tools and frameworks
- Create smoke tests and user acceptance tests to ensure that the data process or software meets the acceptance criteria and is ready for production release
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, customer support, and stakeholders to ensure that the software is of the highest quality
- Perform ad-hoc testing, regression testing, and performance testing as required
- Create well-organized, repeatable, and clearly documented QA processes, including testing checklists, validation steps, expected results, and test evidence
- Continuously improve the software quality process by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a QA
- 2+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years of experience in software testing
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestMo or similar tools
- Proficient Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience with dbt
- Experience testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, analytics models, dashboards, or reporting systems
- Cloud based development (Azure, AWS, etc.…)
- Experience with Snowflake database
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- AI tools for testing
