They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to test and validate modern web applications in an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality releases through collaboration with developers and product managers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and regression testing
- Validate application functionality against requirements and expected workflows
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects
- Assist team ensuring that software complies with software regulations such as DISA STIG and DoD requirements
- Collaborate with developers and product management to clarify requirements and expected behavior
- Participate in agile software planning, backlog review, and release validation activities
- Perform user workflow and usability validation across web applications
- Help ensure consistent software quality across releases and environments
- Assist with acceptance testing and stakeholder feedback collection
- Maintain clear testing documentation and release notes
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Skills
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency
- Experience with healthcare, government, or regulated environments
- Experience with regression testing and release validation
- Experience testing modern web applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to clearly document defects and reproduce issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across teams
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
- Familiarity with Angular, Node.js, or API-based applications
- Exposure to automated testing tools or scripting, including AI-enhanced tooling to improve breadth and quality of testing
- Understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) processes
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes
- Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
