Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Granum is a leading software company focused on serving landscapers and arborists across North America. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and building relationships to support the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Cold calling and outbound activity in a high-volume SMB environment (we're unapologetic about the grind)
- Qualifying leads specifically for landscape, tree care, and snow removal operators who are serious about growth
- Working closely with our SDR Manager and Sales team to keep your strategy sharp and your pipeline full
- Representing Granum at trade shows across Canada and the US (about once a quarter) — you'll be the human face behind our brand
- Tracking your metrics and staying accountable to your KPIs because that's how you grow
Skills
- You're genuinely great with people and see conversations as an opportunity (not a chore)
- You can tell a clear, compelling story about why Granum matters to the people you're calling — and you're willing to keep refining it until it lands
- You're a strong listener who knows when to talk and when to listen intently and learn what someone actually needs
- You've got people skills that translate from hospitality, retail, or customer-facing work — you know how to make someone feel heard and valued
- You've got sales experience under your belt (cold calling, door-to-door, or B2B)
- You're not discouraged by rejection — you see it as part of the process
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and you're excited about making real impact in the green industry
- Strong organization skills (clean pipeline, honest CRM)
- Ability to travel to trade shows in Canada/US once a quarter
- Looking to build a real career in sales and see this role as a great launchpad
