The Sales Manager role is responsible for developing local commercial strategies, leading a sales team, and ensuring market share growth through effective customer and product management.
Responsibilities
- Develop commercial strategies and tactics for the local market aligned with the regional strategy to ensure brand development and market share growth
- Develop existing accounts, new customers, and commercial channels in the assigned market through different business strategies, ensuring sales growth and profitability
- Responsible for country profitability, prioritizing the development of customers and product mix that provides higher profitability to the company
- Lead the local sales team acting as a mentor and coach under the Electrolux way of working, establishing KPIs that contribute to business growth
- Responsible for managing and executing the forecasting process (SOP) with an accuracy level equal to or greater than 85%
- Manage the trade deals budget, ensuring it is used as efficiently as possible to maximize resources
- Responsible for Sell In / Sell Out by executing and collaborating with the regional and local Trade Marketing team on resource allocation and activities that ensure customer inventory turnover
- Work with the regional marketing department to coordinate and execute brand promotion activities and/or new product and category launches
- Responsible for managing the COOP budget (for applicable customers), prioritizing activities that contribute to brand development
- Work closely with product teams to evaluate the product portfolio regarding competitiveness and innovation required by the market
- Act as an influencer across different departments to develop strategies and operational improvements
- Monitor market trends such as new competitors, pricing, new products, and local socioeconomic factors
- Act as a brand ambassador within the country and represent Electrolux values
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to assess information, exercise sound judgment, and make timely, data-informed decisions
- Excellent negotiation, influence, and persuasion skills
- Previous experience leading, or supervising staff
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
