Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. USI Insurance Services is one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the world. They are seeking a Select Employee Benefits Sr Account Representative to assist the account management team with the service and retention of small employee benefits clients, ensuring effective communication and support for client needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist account managers with preparation of materials for client meetings and renewals. Includes benefit summaries, annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, and miscellaneous benefit changes/clarifications
- Assist with the preparation of client compensation disclosures
- Request census data from clients and gather general client information from identified carriers
- Provide proactive, personalized support to a small list of assigned clients. Act as primary contact between clients and insurance carriers with support from a senior member of the service team
- Respond to requests for information, documents, and employee benefits insurance inquiries
- Coordinate and manage client communications via email, phone, and virtual online meetings with support from a senior member of the service team
- Verify accuracy of client plan documents
- Provide general administrative support for the account management team
- Introduce clients to USI value-add services where appropriate
- Maintain client documents in BenefitPoint, ImageRight and network drive
- Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues
- Respond to requests from all partners by stated timeframes
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers
Skills
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in employee benefits industry or related marketplace
- Must hold life and disability insurance license
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products
- Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development
- Open to feedback and coaching
- Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions
- College degree preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of BenefitPoint and ImageRight preferred
