The Senior Analyst, Application Developer is responsible for developing databases and analytical tools to support various financial and actuarial needs, while collaborating with teams to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining databases, data sources, and analytical tools used to support and inform Actuarial, Finance and Medical Economics
- Collaborate and clearly communicate with various teams, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to design and deliver solutions that meet actuarial, finance and underwriting needs
- Organize and document code so that business logic is easy to locate, read, and update
Skills
- 3+ years in SQL or SAS. SAS-EG and VBA with analytical and model-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization
- Cloud based environment experience and Web-based query tools a plus
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of claims data within sources from ACAS, HRP and QNXT platforms
- Experience with Commercial, Medicare, Pharmacy data
- Python, GCP Big Query and Mainframe experience a plus
