The Senior Front-End Software Engineer will design and develop modern web applications, ensuring exceptional user experiences while collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces that support complex healthcare workflows
- Develop reusable UI components and contribute to a consistent design system
- Translate UX designs and wireframes into polished, production-ready applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality
- Participate in application design discussions and contribute ideas that improve usability, performance, and maintainability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as needed
- Write unit and component tests using modern testing frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality
- Help improve development processes, build tooling, and engineering practices
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3-6 years of professional experience developing modern web applications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js
- Experience building responsive, reusable UI components using HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON data
- Experience with Node.js, npm, Webpack, and modern frontend build tools
- Experience writing unit and component tests using Jest, Enzyme, or similar testing frameworks
- Experience developing and deploying applications using Docker or other container technologies
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Comfortable working in a Linux-based development environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
- Experience using Git and modern source control workflows
- Familiarity with Maven or SVN
- Experience building reusable component libraries or design systems
- Ability to translate wireframes into intuitive, production-ready user interfaces
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving product requirements
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus
- Experience building enterprise-scale web applications is preferred

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
