Key Responsibilities Lead the formulation and development of innovative skincare, haircare, and color cosmetic products from ideation to final product. Conduct benchtop research, ingredient screening, and formulation optimization to achieve desired product performance and aesthetics. Oversee stability testing, compatibility studies, and preliminary safety assessments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches. Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, raw materials, and global regulatory landscapes. Troubleshoot formulation challenges and provide technical support for manufacturing scale-up. Develop comprehensive formulation documentation, specifications, and batch records. Mentor junior chemists and contribute to the overall scientific expertise of the R&D team. Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure all product development adheres to company quality standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and product development. Demonstrated experience in developing successful skincare and/or haircare products. In-depth knowledge of raw materials, active ingredients, emulsification, and preservative systems. Familiarity with global cosmetic regulations (FDA, EU, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suitable for a remote work environment. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
