Touro College of Dental Medicine is seeking a Senior Financial Aid Administrator to manage and oversee all aspects of the student financial aid process. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and providing comprehensive financial aid counseling to students and families.
Responsibilities
- Administer federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs in compliance with all applicable regulations, including Title IV requirements
- Ensure adherence to policies set forth by the US Department of Education and other regulatory bodies
- Student packaging, awarding, verification, and disbursement processes
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement operational updates to maintain compliance
- Provide comprehensive financial aid counseling to prospective and current students and families
- Guide students through FAFSA completion, verification requirements, and funding options
- Resolve complex financial aid issues with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
- Utilize and maintain student information systems to ensure accurate processing and reporting
- Performs exit interviews and loan counseling to students upon graduation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 3+ years of financial aid experience in higher education
