Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to manage financial reporting and variance analysis for assigned markets. The role involves providing executive management support and maintaining financial reporting models to enhance analysis for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Engage in financial reporting, data aggregation, and occasional merger & acquisition (M&A) analysis for joint venture partners
- Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts for assigned joint venture partners
- Prepare financial statement reporting & variance analysis across all assigned joint venture partners
- Prepare financial reports and analyses to support executive decision making
- Partner with finance leadership to understand nuanced concepts and tradeoffs within Company’s operating model
- Drive efficiencies and standardization in existing financial reporting and processes
- Assist with ad hoc financial analyses to support operations, promoting profitable and sustainable decision making
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related occupation
- 2+ years of experience engaging in financial reporting, financial data aggregation, M&A analysis, & preparation of financial variance analyses for multistate healthcare providers; & preparing financial reports in support of executive decision-making
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Advanced experience creating professional presentations for board meetings or executive reviews
- Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations
- Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations
- Ability to digest large amounts of data and synthesize it into high level, key talking points, be able to 'tell the story;' ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to think creatively, be proactive, highly driven, self-starter
- Process driven, ability to understand and assess existing processes and recommend and implement changes to drive efficiencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This role involves interaction and collaboration with other departments and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a multi-site, multi-entity or joint venture environment
- Prior financial services experience (investment banking, management consulting, etc.)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
