Data Capital Incorporation is seeking an experienced Lead UI/XML Application Developer to enhance their enterprise XML publishing platform. The role involves liaising between XML schema teams and business users to ensure integration with web-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Support the modernization and enhancement of an enterprise XML publishing platform
- Serve as the primary liaison between XML schema development teams and business users
- Ensure seamless integration between XML content standards and the web-based publishing application
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred but not required)
- 5+ years of recent experience as a Senior UI/Web Application Developer
- Strong experience with HTML5
- Advanced CSS3
- Responsive Web Design
- UI/UX Design
- Web Application Development
- XML Content Creation
- XML Schema (XSD)
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into intuitive user interfaces
- Experience creating wireframes and prototypes using Figma
- Strong understanding of accessibility, usability, and modern web design principles
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with Microsoft Blazor development
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET
- Experience using LINQ-to-XML
- Experience consuming and developing RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with XML syntax and XML validation
- Experience creating XML documents that conform to established schemas or DTDs
