Our client, a national leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Senior Insurance Claims Adjuster. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, though primary communication and coordination will be based out of our Raleigh, North Carolina hub. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of complex insurance claims from initial investigation through to final settlement. Responsibilities include thoroughly investigating claims, evaluating policy coverage, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will be expected to conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses, gather evidence, obtain estimates, and make fair and timely claim dispositions. Strong analytical skills are essential for assessing damages, determining liability, and authorizing payments. This role requires exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with policyholders, legal counsel, repair services, and other relevant parties. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain meticulous records is paramount. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a claims adjuster. Possession of relevant state adjusters licenses is a significant advantage.
