[Remote] Senior Manager, Software Engineering

As the Senior Manager of Software Engineering, you will lead a team to build the Entri platform, focusing on patient scheduling and order management while driving modernization and efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for the Entri "schedule maximizer" and "order facilitator" systems - core capabilities that enable patients and providers to schedule care and coordinate services effectively across systems
• Stay close to the technology while leading the team by driving architecture, participating in design decisions, and stepping in on complex production issues
• Lead modernization of legacy desktop applications into scalable SaaS products while driving adoption of the enterprise data platform to improve performance and system efficiency
• Develop engineers through mentorship, coaching, and structured knowledge sharing, creating a culture of continuous improvement
• Work in a pod-based model where engineering and product jointly influence roadmap decisions, providing autonomy and ownership over outcomes

Skills

• 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams
• 5+ years designing and building scalable, distributed systems (including microservices architecture) using agile delivery methodologies
• Strong backend experience in C#/.NET or Java, with exposure to modern web applications and SaaS platforms
• Proven ability to operate as a hands-on technical leader (architecture, design, and problem-solving)
• Experience developing engineering professionals with high expectations, a collaborative style, and a focus on continuous improvement, quality, and planning
• Experience partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing solutions
