[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

QVC Group, Inc. is a Fortune 500 company with six leading retail brands, and they are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support QVC and HSN. The role involves leading the design, evolution, and delivery of modern software platforms across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex coding and configuration to meet documented needs requirements, using a variety of procedures and considering multiple interfaces and system interdependencies
• Lead development of design specifications for the team within defined architecture, using standard procedures and techniques
• Define and maintain standards for the team's support, installation and operating procedure documentation
• Facilitate design and code review sessions, fostering an environment that encourages consideration for improved design and code quality
• Identify opportunities for technology consolidation and improvements to legacy systems to increase stability and availability
• Lead feasibility analysis for new systems
• Drive technology strategy and execution efforts to improve overall developer experience and productivity

Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a record of delivering complex software systems
• Expertise in modern frontend engineering using: TypeScript, React, Next.js, .NET, SQLServer, JavaScript and UX-focused development
• Experience designing scalable web applications and responsive user experiences
• Experience with software architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise application design
• Experience building and integrating APIs and backend services using .NET, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and observability tooling
• Experience in platform engineering or internal developer tooling
