Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their CommandIQ® team. The role involves designing and developing mission-critical software features for Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
- Design, Implement, and integrate/test software features
- Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs
Skills
- Frontend framework development experience using Angular, javascript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience/Familiarity with the following: Docker, REST APIs
- Experience with UI/UX Design & Iteration Process/Tools (Figma, MockFlow, UXPin, Axure)
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience (Advanced Degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience)
- Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
- Experience in UI/UX Test Frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest)
- Experience in a Full-Stack engineering role
- Experience/Exposure to any of the following: Gitlab CI/CD, Helm, Kubernetes, gRPC, Python, Flask
- Previous IRAD experience
- Active Secret Clearance
