They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Pega expertise to develop and maintain mobile and desktop Pega-based solutions, contributing to critical systems that support Long-Term Care Claims Administration applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for Pega applications
- Serve as a Senior Application Developer for the LTC Claims Operations technology team by designing, developing, and supporting scalable workflow applications
- Develop software using PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for Business Process Management and Business Process Rules initiatives
- Create innovative solutions to address design, architectural, and technical challenges
- Partner with the Lead System Architect to determine solution design and produce required technical documentation
- Perform ongoing refactoring, apply visualization techniques, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Build and maintain strong peer relationships across cross‑functional technology teams and application users
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testers, and business users to prioritize development within resource constraints
- Evaluate and adapt emerging technologies and toolsets as appropriate
- Perform peer code reviews and ensure strong adherence to Pega guardrails
Skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
- 5 - 7+ years of Pega application development experience
- 4+ years developing BPM applications using Pega PRPC Platform 8 & 24/25
- Strong enforcement of Pega best practices for design and architecture
- Experience with Agile (Scrum)
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience with Pega Constellation
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with .NET or Java
- Experience leading development teams
