Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SEO Growth Partners is a fast-growing SEO company based in Portland, OR, seeking an SEO Account Manager. The role involves building strong relationships with clients, ensuring transparent communication about project status, and supporting them in achieving their SEO goals.
Responsibilities
- Communicate via email with clients to update them on project status, how things are going, and to get a "peek behind the curtain" to see how our work is impacting their business
- "Interview" our clients as the subject matter experts so that our team of writers can write interesting and valuable content that aligns with clients' knowledge and beliefs. For example, we may write a piece of content about "best stretches for lower back pain" - our team of writers are not experts on this so our account managers record an interview with our clients to guide the content
- Onboard new clients to ensure they have a seamless and exciting experience in the first 30-60 days of working with us. This is the most important time of a new client's relationship with us
- Have strong SEO knowledge so that you can "speak the lingo" with clients and explain why we're implementing the strategy that we're doing, why it's valuable for their business, etc
- Communicate closely with our SEO strategists to articulate a client's vision so that our team can turn it into reality
- At the beginning of a new clients’ campaign, support basic SEO optimizations such as adding content to their Google Business Profile or recommending SEO changes on their website (we train you on this!)
Skills
- Some SEO and/or marketing experience
- Excellent communication and relationship skills such as concise writing, expectation management, empathy, and thirst for learning
- Strong SEO knowledge to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to onboard new clients and ensure a seamless experience
- Ability to communicate closely with SEO strategists to articulate a client's vision
- Ability to support basic SEO optimizations
