They are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to manage and optimize their Workday Payroll system, ensuring efficient payroll operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives with the HRIS landscape, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality
- Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation
- Manage project migration, unit/system testing, documents change control and user sign off, ensure changes meet SOX compliance
- Document requirements for system modifications and improvements and manage progress through UAT to implementation
- Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related system issues. Coordinate application of upgrade or fix
- Maintain HRIS/Payroll system tables, configurations, earnings, deductions, tax set-ups and costing allocations in Workday. Documents process and results
- Support and enhance integrations between Workday and third-party payroll vendors
- Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
- Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
- Provide end-user support and conduct training, including developing user procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation on existing, and new functionality or system changes
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of Workday Analyst experience with at least 3 years of focused experience in the Workday Payroll module
- A strong emphasis and technical understanding of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules preferably in a mid to large-sized organization in the health care space
- In-depth understanding of payroll processing, taxation, retro pay, and payroll compliance
- Strong knowledge of US Payroll laws and tax regulations
- Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical support skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States

- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio)
