Select Source International is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex engineering and product development projects. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, project timelines, and budgets while solving technical challenges to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex engineering and product development projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other business functions
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and ensure projects stay on track
- Manage project budgets, including capital expenditures (CapEx) and overall project costs
- Identify technical issues and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision
- Supervise project team members and ensure successful collaboration across departments
- Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership
- Apply engineering knowledge and best practices to support project success
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 8 10 years of engineering or engineering project management experience
- 2 5 years of experience leading teams in a matrix (cross-functional) organization
- Experience managing engineering or product development projects
- Strong project planning, budgeting, and cost management skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience leading New Product Development (NPD) or Product Development projects
- Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team management experience
- Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines
- Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment
