Location: Remote (North America) Role Type: Full-Time / Work-from-Anywhere Experience Level: 4-7 Years About the Role RETHINK Retail is seeking a high-caliber Retail Analyst to serve as a primary authoritative voice for our editorial and sponsored content streams. This is not a "copywriting" role; it is a position for a subject matter expert who can interview C-suite executives, synthesize complex market data, and produce the industry’s most respected long-form white papers. In the short term, you will lead the execution of high-value sponsored content for our global clients. Over time, you will help shape the independent editorial roadmap of RETHINK Retail. You are expected to have a POV; we don’t want a "yes-person"; we want a collaborator who will challenge ideas and advocate for the most impactful narrative. Key Responsibilities • The "White Paper Engine": Research, write, and produce authoritative long-form white papers that serve as the primary lead-generation tool for our clients and our brand. • Executive Interviews: Conduct high-level interviews with retail leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs), translating their insights into compelling narratives. • Multimedia Integration: Collaborate with our Multimedia Producer to transform podcast discussions and video sessions into deep-dive articles and research reports. • GEO Strategy: Ensure all content is optimized for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) , maintaining discoverability in an AI-first search landscape. • Client Management: Act as a lead representative in client-facing calls, demonstrating the executive presence necessary to guide project strategy and defend editorial perspectives. Subject Matter Expertise We are looking for candidates with deep curiosity and/or established expertise in at least 3-4 of the following areas: Retail AI & • Machine Learning (Predictive analytics, personalization), Unified Commerce (Omnichannel integration, BOPIS, inventory visibility), Supply Chain Resiliency (Last-mile delivery, circular logistics), Ecommerce Orchestration (Marketplaces, headless commerce), Consumer Psychology (Behavioral economics, loyalty shifts), Luxury Retail & • High-Touch Service, Sustainability & • ESG (Transparent sourcing, resale markets), Retail Media Networks (Monetizing first-party data), Social commerce, livestreaming, Payments & • Fintech (Buy Now Pay Later, digital wallets), Workforce Transformation (Frontline empowerment, automation), Data Privacy & • Ethics (Zero-party data, cookieless future). Qualifications & Skills • Experience: 4–7 years in B2B journalism, market research, or technical content marketing. • Research Rigor: Ability to synthesize data and interviews into content that actually moves the needle. • Tech Stack: Familiarity with the "Modern Marketing Cloud," including HubSpot for lead tracking and Claude/OpenAI for AI-augmented research and outlining. • Voice: A strong, independent editorial voice. You should be comfortable building your own professional profile as a thought leader within the RETHINK Retail ecosystem.
