Viking is a global leader in experiential travel, and they are seeking a Revenue Management Analyst to join their Revenue Management team. This role involves influencing and supporting revenue management strategy through pricing, inventory control, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage pricing and inventory to support the yield management goals in the assigned markets based on supply and demand, booking curves, standard reports, competitive landscape, market conditions, data analysis, etc
- Conduct quantitative analyses and create ad hoc reports and presentation decks for the senior management, including CMO, CEO, and the Board of Directors
- Work closely with other teams such as Marketing, Sales, Call Center, Operations, and IT to implement projects within expected deadlines
- Proofreading direct mailers, email campaigns, etc for accuracy in pricing, inventory, offer messaging & terms
- Basic knowledge of Copilot, or similar, is preferred. Willingness to learn/interact with Copilot is required
- High level of discipline & multitasking capacity as well as a desire to take ownership of sailings under the analyst’s supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Finance, Math, Statistics, Business Administration or other quantitative discipline
- Previous experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUPs, IFs)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Database management skills
- Willingness to learn SQL is required
- Basic knowledge of Copilot, or similar, is preferred
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Prior experience with the travel industry and/or revenue management is a plus
