Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring that every interaction with our customers is memorable, delightful, and exceeds their expectations.
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and arenaflex service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).
- Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items.
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested, processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records, checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.
- Implementing arenaflex asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, completing resets and revisions as directed.
- Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves), assisting in stock rotation using the first in, first out method and restocking outs.
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
- Assuming web pick-up responsibilities (monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus, filling orders, delivering orders to customers as they arrive at store).
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
- Complying with all arenaflex policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
- Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential and preferred qualifications:
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
- Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Preferred prior work experience with arenaflex.
