What You Will Contribute:
The Sales Development Specialist plays a critical role in fueling pipeline growth by identifying new business opportunities and engaging both prospective and current customers. This role is ideal for a driven, curious professional who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and enjoys building relationships. You will partner closely with Sales and Marketing to generate qualified leads, strengthen customer engagement, and support revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and engage prospective customers through research, outreach, and networking
- Generate new business opportunities via cold calls, email campaigns, and social selling
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess needs, timing, and fit
- Re-engage current customers to drive satisfaction, retention, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Manage and track leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression
- Partner with Regional Account Managers to align on strategy and successfully transition qualified leads
- Represent the company at industry trade shows to build relationships, capture new leads, and drive timely follow-up to convert opportunities
- Leverage Salesforce (or CRM tools) to document activities, manage pipeline, and maintain data integrity
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
- Report on outreach activity, pipeline health, and key performance metrics
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting, including cold calling
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Familiarity with modern prospecting techniques (social selling, multi-channel outreach)
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
