Come join our team in the role of Sales Director! Corteva Agriscience is seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive the grower strategy. In this role, you will lead and coordinate our approach to corporate farm customers, build deep relationships with key decision makers, and partner cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that accelerate the adoption of Corteva products and technologies.
This is a high-impact leadership position that combines strategic vision, people leadership, and hands-on account management to maximize growth across our most important grower relationships.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Lead and coordinate the grower strategy for Corteva's F&V portfolio, collaborating across marketing, agronomy, and sales teams.
Serve as a people leader for Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), primarily West Coast–based.
Corporate Farm Direct Responsibilities
Partner with corporate farm entities to understand the structure and decision-making processes within their organizations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers to enhance usage of Corteva products and technologies.
Partner with farms to create, implement, and track strategic business plans and progress (e.g., financial metrics, share of farm).
Work cross-functionally within Corteva to assess farm needs and ensure each entity has access to product, technical, and business support across all geographies where the farm operates.
Commercial Programs & Adoption
Partner with marketing to create and implement customized commercial programs that drive a growth mindset and create consistency with the corporate farms
Facilitate the rapid adoption of new technologies.
Partner with the retail channel to ensure a smooth purchasing process for the farm entity across multiple geographies.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Experience:10+ years in Ag sales, agronomy, or agribusiness marketing roles
Education: Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing
Leadership: Proven people leader
Strategy: Proficient in strategy development and execution
Business Acumen: Strong business acumen
Agronomic Knowledge: Possesses, or has the ability to learn, basic agronomic information and product positioning
Customer Focus: Proven ability to understand customer needs and develop customized approaches and offers
Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external stakeholders to create and drive solutions

The salary range for this position is $170,000.00 to $218,000.00.This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
