About the Role
A growing SAT prep center in Frisco, TX is expanding and hiring a results-driven SAT tutor (Math and/or EBRW).
You will design and deliver structured diagnostics, individualized study plans, and measurable progress tracking, teaching both in-person and online, including groups of 8–18 students.
We are looking for a tutor who is analytical, data-driven, and focused on measurable student success, not just instruction.
Responsibilities
• Teach SAT Math and/or EBRW to students (8–18 per group)
• Conduct onboarding diagnostics: test analysis + 60-minute interview (goals, background, constraints, timeline)
• Prepare clear diagnostic summaries: strengths, red flags, priorities, next steps
• Build individualized study plans aligned with target score and timeline
• Track student progress with metrics: accuracy %, error patterns, pacing (WPM preferred)
• Maintain engagement, structure, and classroom management
• Communicate progress and risks clearly to students and parents
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of SAT content and scoring logic
• Confident in-person and online instruction
• Experience teaching groups (8–18 students)
• Clear communication and coaching mindset (motivation, confidence, resilience)
• Preferred: official SAT score 1500+ overall OR Math 770+ / EBRW 740+
• If no recent SAT score: provide strong student outcomes + diagnostic task + demo lesson
