Your hands-on work will include operational and technical tasks that support office openings, closures, and relocations, ensuring our operations run smoothly and meet our brand standards.</p><p><b>Your daily responsibilities will include:</b></p><ul><li><p>Conduct basic building maintenance such as changing light bulbs, repairing ceiling tiles, cleaning HVAC vents, performing minor low-voltage electrical work, and addressing minor damages.</p></li><li><p>Timely and organized delivery of supplies and materials to tax office locations.</p></li><li><p>Assist in the annual setup and closing of seasonal tax offices, including arranging the office layout according to the planogram, installing window clings, electrical lightboxes, and open signs, ensuring cleanliness, and confirming offices comply with brand standards.</p></li><li><p>Set up, shut down, and provide ongoing support for PC hardware across multiple office locations with guidance from the District Operation Coordinator and Operations Technical Analyst.</p></li><li><p>Maintain an accurate inventory of district resources.</p></li><li><p>Track and manage hot spare computer equipment within the district.</p></li><li><p>Document hardware issues and their resolutions in the ticketing system.</p></li><li><p>Stay informed about the department's supported products and systems through ongoing technical knowledge maintenance.</p></li><li><p>Participate in all required training relevant to the position and undertake other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p><b>What You'll Bring to the Team...</b></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p></li></ul><p><b>Work Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Suite applications, including virtual tools.</p></li><li><p>A foundational understanding of IT, with the ability to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware.</p></li><li><p>Reliable transportation to travel between office locations as needed.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently.</p></li><li><p>Capability to lift 55 pounds.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong organization, prioritization, and project coordination abilities.</p></li><li><p>Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to engage with associates at all levels.</p></li><li><p>Proficient time management and multitasking skills.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to follow directions closely.</p></li></ul><p><b>Why Work for Us</b></p><p>Since 1955, H&R Block has been a leader in tax preparation, financial services, and small business solutions.
