As the Seller/Servicer Fraud Risk Oversight, Business Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our mortgage operations. We are looking for a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team and help us combat fraud and protect our business. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate fraud risk in the mortgage industry, specifically within Freddie Mac's Seller/Servicer operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for all Seller/Servicer fraud risk related matters, including conducting investigations and providing guidance to internal stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to fraud risk and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and industry stakeholders to stay informed about potential fraud risks and collaborate on risk mitigation efforts. Lead and manage a team of fraud risk specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support in identifying and addressing fraudulent activities. Conduct regular reviews and audits of internal processes and controls to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Develop and deliver training programs for employees and external partners on fraud risk awareness and prevention. Analyze data and metrics to identify patterns and trends in potential fraud activities and make recommendations for process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fraud risk management strategies and initiatives. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance fraud detection and prevention processes. Communicate regularly with senior management and present reports on fraud risk trends, issues, and mitigation efforts. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to fraud risk management. Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the organization by promoting ethical behavior and compliance with policies and procedures.
