Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain industrial automation control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and robotics. Develop, troubleshoot, and debug PLC logic (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI software. Perform calibration and testing of sensors, actuators, and other control system components. Implement and manage system upgrades and modifications to enhance performance and efficiency. Respond to control system malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime in **Sacramento, California**. Collaborate with engineering teams on system design, process improvements, and new technology integration. Ensure all automation systems comply with safety standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support and training to operations personnel and junior technicians. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, programming, and maintenance records. Requirements Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi). Experience with HMI/SCADA software development and configuration (e.g., FactoryTalk View, Wonderware). Solid understanding of electrical schematics, industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus), and VFDs. Experience with robotics integration and troubleshooting is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
