What We’re Looking For
You’re a detail-driven colorist with a strong artistic eye and deep technical expertise. You understand how to balance creative intent with color science and are comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
You communicate clearly, work independently, and take ownership of both the technical and visual quality of your work. This is an opportunity to contribute to a scalable, standardized grading workflow across a global production ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Ingest and manage ProRes sequences within DaVinci Resolve
Match hero/wide shots precisely to provided reference stills (JPGs)
Ensure consistent grading across all shots by matching to the hero frame
Work within Juan Pablo’s 2499 DRT (DCTL) pipeline
Deliver final outputs in Rec.709 for broadcast and digital use
Build and deliver complete timeline setups, including full node trees for client-side adjustments
Participate in live client review sessions, making real-time grading changes
Manage DCTL tools and workflows (including sourcing from platforms like GitHub)
Maintain clean project organization and file management standards
Collaborate with global teams using tools like Frame.io
Contribute to defining and improving a standardized grading workflow across projects
Requirements
Experience
3–5+ years of professional color grading experience
Background in commercial, brand, fashion, or lifestyle content
Experience working in live client grading/review sessions
Proven ability to collaborate in remote, international teams
Strong portfolio/showreel of relevant work
Technical Skills
DaVinci Resolve – Advanced (mandatory)
Node-based grading workflows – Advanced
ProRes formats (4444 / 422 HQ) – Proficient
LUTs, DCTLs & pipeline integration – Proficient
Display Rendering Transforms (DRT) – Working knowledge
Rec.709 delivery standards – Proficient
Shot matching & reference-based grading – Advanced
Log workflows (S-Log, C-Log, D-Log, etc.) – Proficient
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Juan Pablo’s 2499 DRT
HDR grading experience
Experience with Frame.io
Basic GitHub usage
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Collaborative and proactive mindset
Adaptability in fast-moving, feedback-driven environments
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
