Our client, a dynamic and innovative digital agency, is seeking a highly analytical and creative Senior Digital Marketing Strategist with deep expertise in SEO and SEM. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US. You will be instrumental in developing and executing cutting-edge digital marketing campaigns that drive significant online visibility, traffic, and conversions for our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive SEO and SEM strategies tailored to client objectives and target audiences. Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis to inform strategy. Oversee and optimize on-page and off-page SEO efforts, including content optimization, link building, and technical SEO audits. Manage and execute paid search campaigns (PPC) across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads, focusing on ROI and CPA optimization. Monitor campaign performance, analyze data using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz, and generate insightful reports. Identify opportunities for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across websites and landing pages. Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other marketing specialists to ensure cohesive campaign execution. Stay abreast of the latest algorithm updates, industry best practices, and emerging digital marketing trends. Provide strategic recommendations and thought leadership to clients and internal teams. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the agency's knowledge base. Manage client relationships and present campaign performance and strategic insights effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO and SEM strategy and execution. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO and SEM campaigns that have driven measurable results (traffic, conversions, ROI). Expertise with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console) and SEM platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads). Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Analytics and data visualization tools. Excellent understanding of website architecture, user experience, and content strategy. Superb communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment. Experience with other digital marketing channels (social media, email marketing, content marketing) is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads Certified Professional, Google Analytics Individual Qualification) are highly valued.
