Job Description:
• Define, develop, and drive the multi-year, enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy
• Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing, global team of recruiting leaders and individual contributors
• Communicate a compelling, long-term vision and sense of purpose for the Talent Acquisition function
• Shape and activate Marqeta's talent brand to win top talent
• Own the strategy and architecture for recruiting systems to maximize efficiency
• Partner directly with the Executive Leadership Team and department heads
• Develop and maintain a deep, executive-level understanding of the competitive talent landscape
• Lead and participate in strategic, cross-functional initiatives and projects
Requirements:
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or Human Resources
• At least 8 years of experience leading high-performing, multi-location, or global teams within a hyper-growth environment
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic and tactical level
• Deep-seated passion for building a diverse and inclusive global team
• Superior communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• Proven track record of initiating, innovating, and delivering complex, high-impact results
• Exceptional analytical, program, and project management skills for large-scale initiatives
• Extensive experience translating complex data and analytics into actionable executive insights
