About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager of Operations (Supply Chain, Logistics & Systems) to own how product, data, and systems flow through our business.
This role sits at the center of Destira’s operations. You will lead warehouse performance, optimize inventory flow, and take full ownership of our systems ecosystem, including a critical systems migration and integrations across Shopify, QuickBooks, Airtable, and logistics platforms.
This is a builder role. You will not just manage operations, you will design and improve how they work together, driving speed, accuracy, and scalability across the business.
If you are someone who thrives in a growth-stage company and wants to transform how a business operates end-to-end, this role offers real ownership and impact.
Growth & Scope Opportunity
This is the first dedicated operations leadership role at Destira, reporting directly to the CEO.
As we grow, this role is expected to expand into a Director-level position, with the opportunity to build a team, and lead a broader function across operations, logistics, systems, and emerging areas like automation, AI, and operational finance.
You will help shape how operations evolve at Destira, influencing structure, systems, and long term strategy. We are looking for someone excited not just to run operations, but to build the foundation for the next stage of growth.
What You’ll Own
Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment
You will lead warehouse performance through the Warehouse Operations Manager, ensuring staffing, labor planning, and productivity align with business demand. Improve execution across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while building accountability, reporting, and performance visibility. This is a 10-15 person fulfillment team seasonally.
Cross-Functional Operations & Logistics
You will own end-to-end inventory flow from production through warehouse to customer. Partner with Merchandise Planning and Production to ensure timely and accurate product movement, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and improve shipping and returns processes. Continuously balance the operating calendar, with cost, speed, and customer experience. Act as the connective layer between warehouse, product, planning, and sales. Ensure alignment between inventory, demand, and fulfillment readiness while helping maintain operational calendars and execution timelines.
Systems, Technology & SOPs (Primary Ownership)
You will own our systems ecosystem across Shopify, QuickBooks, Airtable, and warehouse and shipping tools. Lead a critical systems migration and manage integrations across platforms. Assess the current landscape, identify inefficiencies, and build a roadmap to streamline and strengthen systems. Ensure systems support real workflows and business needs. Build and document SOPs across warehouse, logistics, and systems. Create clear, simple processes that teams can follow consistently and establish dashboards and reporting to drive performance visibility and continuous improvement.
Automation & AI Enablement
You will identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation and improved workflows. Explore and implement practical applications of AI to improve reporting, visibility, and operational efficiency, cross-company. Test, implement, and scale tools that improve speed, accuracy, and decision-making, ensuring adoption across teams.
What We’re Looking For
• 5–10 years experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain (retail/apparel preferred) in a hands-on entrepreneurial environment
• Experience working in a growth-stage company (roughly $8M-$20M in revenue), where you’ve operated in a fast-moving, resourceful environment with evolving systems and processes
• Experience working cross-functionally with planning, production, or product teams
• Strong systems mindset with experience in tools, integrations, or implementations (Shopify, QBO, WMS, ERP, Airtable, etc.)
• Comfortable owning systems projects and working with external agencies or partners
• Curious and practical about automation and AI; interested in applying tools to improve real workflows
• Proven ability to identify problems and drive solutions end-to-end
• Travel 3-5 times per year
