As a Senior Software Engineer on our Chatbot Product team, you will work in a collaborative environment with talented and diverse software engineers to create innovative user experiences for AI-driven customer service products. * Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy to build novel products and features
* Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch
* Nurture a culture of technical quality from design, through code review, to production operations
* Collaborate with your team to identify and solve technical challenges, ensuring that our solutions are efficient, scalable, and meet the highest standards of quality
**A Typical Day**
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Chatbot Product team, you can expect to:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on product and business strategy
* Drive the development cycle, from technical design to launch
* Review code and design documents, providing feedback on product specs and mocks
* Nurture a culture of technical quality, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality
* Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, sharing your expertise and experience to improve your teammates' productivity
**Your Expertise**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5-9+ years of industry experience with a BS/Masters or 2+ years with a PhD and experience in a fast-paced tech environment
* Strong expertise with backend systems in service-oriented architectures
* Experience with frontend or full-stack development
* Experience with chatbot/AI product would be a plus
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with teams across the engineering, product & design organizations
* Passionate about efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality
* Love for collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions, and are motivated to improve your teammates' productivity
