Job Description:
We’re looking for a top-tier video editor who specializes in transforming interview-based content into polished, engaging, and highly watchable videos.
All footage is recorded via Riverside.fm (multi-cam, professional audio), and the goal is to elevate it into content that feels sharp, intentional, and keeps attention throughout — even when the subject matter is more technical or business-focused.
This is not a basic editing role. We’re looking for someone with a strong editorial point of view — someone who understands pacing, nuance, and how to shape conversation into compelling content.
What You’ll Be Working With:
Pre-recorded virtual interviews (Riverside.fm)
Multi-speaker conversations
Talking-head content
What “Great” Looks Like to Us:
- Clean, confident edits that feel effortless
- Tight pacing without feeling rushed
- Thoughtful jump cuts and natural flow
- Subtle but intentional use of zooms/punch-ins
- Strong audio consistency across speakers
- Minimal, tasteful motion graphics (lower thirds, titles, etc.)
- Edits that enhance — not distract from — the content
We care about taste level as much as technical skill.
Long-Term Fit:
We are looking to partner with one editor long-term for ongoing content.
This initial project is an opportunity for you to demonstrate that you can capture the voice, vibe, and energy of our brand. When we bring edits back to our internal team, we’re looking for work that clearly reflects that alignment.
