Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites that prioritize performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional web solutions.
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, security, and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and external services as needed.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Perform routine updates, backups, and ongoing website maintenance.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas to improve development processes.
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and modern web development practices.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and SEO best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
