OVERVIEW
I am the founder of a boutique luxury travel agency offering all-inclusive luxury journeys to France, with a focus on wine, gourmet, and lifestyle experiences.
My current website is built on Wix and has limited visibility on Google. As a first step, I am seeking a freelancer to properly migrate the website from Wix to WordPress, followed by the implementation of a strong, SEO strategy.
The goal is to improve online visibility, achieve first-page rankings within my niche, attract qualified, high-intent traffic, and generate leads that convert into bookings.
I am looking for a senior-level freelance expert who understands website migration, SEO foundations, luxury branding, and conversion, not just technical execution.
OBJECTIVES

SCOPE OF WORK
Phase 1 – Wix to WordPress Migration
- Audit of the existing Wix website (content, structure, URLs, SEO elements).
- Migration to WordPress with a clean, fast, SEO-friendly setup.
- Implementation of proper URL structure and 301 redirects to preserve SEO value.
- Transfer and optimization of content, images, and metadata.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness, performance, and security.
Phase 2 – SEO Strategy & Implementation
- Full SEO audit of the new WordPress website (technical, on-page, off-page).
- Keyword research focused on luxury travel and wine experiences. Competitors analysis.
- On-page SEO optimization (pages, headings, meta descriptions, URLs, internal linking, images).
- Technical SEO improvements (indexing, site speed, mobile optimization).
- Backlink and authority-building strategy.
- Monthly reporting on rankings, traffic, and leads.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience with Wix to WordPress website migrations.
- Strong background in SEO for WordPress websites.
- Experience with luxury travel, hospitality, wine, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
- Ability to provide case studies or measurable results.
