Social Media Specialist & Content Producer (4-month contract – Maternity Leave)

Location: Remote (USA) Duration: 4 months Overview We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist & Content Producer to manage and grow social media presence. This role combines content creation, publishing, and performance optimization to drive engagement and brand awareness within enterprise IT audiences. Key Responsibilities • Create, schedule, and publish content across social platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube) • Write clear, on-brand copy tailored to different audiences • Manage social calendar and support marketing campaigns • Support executive social presence and thought leadership content • Monitor trends and optimize content performance • Track metrics and provide performance insights • Support paid social initiatives when needed Requirements • 2+ years of experience in social media management, communications/PR, or content strategy • Strong writing and editing skills, including technical or product-focused content • Proven experience managing multiple social platforms for a brand or organization • Solid understanding of platform best practices, algorithms, and emerging trends • Experience with scheduling tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Later, Sprinklr, or native platforms) • Experience in B2B or technology environments • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Nice to Have • Video content creation/editing (short-form content) • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.) • Experience with analytics and reporting Pay: $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month Application Question(s): • Do you have experience working with B2B companies, preferably in SaaS or technology? • Are you available to work on a 4-month remote project under a W-9 (independent contractor) agreement? • What is your salary expectation per month?
