Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' speech, language, and swallowing skills. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients. Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders and provide resources for continued support. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech language pathology. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to discuss patient progress and coordinate care. Advocate for patients' rights and needs. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Attend continuing education courses and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
