You're a people-first, organized, and detail-oriented HR professional who loves creating positive first impressions and seamless experiences for candidates and new hires. You bring energy to recruiting and a steady hand to onboarding and offboarding, knowing that each touchpoint shapes how someone feels about working here. You're a strong communicator who can move quickly without losing the personal touch, and you take pride in keeping processes tight, candidates informed, and team members supported.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related area; or PHR/SHRM Certification
1+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR coordination, ideally within a remote or professional services environment
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer coordination
Experience coordinating new hire onboarding
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ATS or HRIS, BambooHR preferred
Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and a working understanding of employment law basics
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A people-first mindset with sound judgment and discretion
A day in the life
As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you own the candidate and employee lifecycle. You drive a smooth, welcoming recruiting process, partner closely with hiring managers to bring in the right people, set new hires up for a strong start, and handle offboarding with care, so every team member's experience reflects who we are as a company.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, phone screens, interview scheduling, and offer coordination
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and keep searches moving
Maintain a positive candidate experience through clear, timely, and thoughtful communication
Keep the ATS and recruiting trackers organized, accurate, and up to date
Facilitate new hire onboarding, including paperwork, system access, orientation, and first-week check-ins
Track and report on key recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding metrics
Help maintain job descriptions and recruiting materials so they stay accurate and up to date
Maintain HRIS data accuracy, company organization charts, and the employee directory
Stay current on recruiting trends and employment law basics that affect hiring and offboarding
Other duties as assigned
