Overview: The Technical Product Owner (TPO) drives solution definition and delivery for the Workflow Orchestration Initiative, supporting enterprise workflow and automation capabilities using platforms such as Appian.
This role translates business needs into clear, testable requirements for backend, workflow, and integration teams.
The TPO will support the Payment BU Workflow Intelligence and Optimization Initiative, working closely with product managers, architects, and software engineers (Java, AI, and workflow) to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Responsibilities: Elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define solutions aligned with program objectives and workflow modernization goals. Create and maintain features, epics, and user stories for workflow‑driven and backend services. Refine and manage the program and team backlogs, ensuring readiness for PI Planning.
Prioritize work in coordination with the Scrum Master and Delivery Lead. Define acceptance criteria and accept completed user stories at the end of each sprint.
5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or Business Analyst on enterprise software Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office, or similar. Preferred experience with workflow modeling, system modeling, and Agile / SAFe delivery.
Preferred familiarity with SQL, APIs, JSON, XML, or service‑oriented systems.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Participation in virtual meetings and collaboration sessions.
