A remote telehealth role is available for a licensed School Psychologist supporting students in a school setting. This 1099 contract position offers the opportunity to deliver psychological services from a virtual environment, providing assessments, consultations, and interventions to address students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments remotely
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing telehealth counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Maintaining thorough documentation and complying with ethical and legal standards
• Offering guidance on behavioral strategies and school-wide support through virtual platforms
Qualifications and experience desired:
• Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas
• Experience delivering telehealth psychological services within educational settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication skills tailored to virtual interactions with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to manage schedules independently and maintain reliable internet connectivity for telehealth sessions
This opportunity is based in Burleson, TX, however, all services will be provided remotely. The contractor status provides flexibility in scheduling and autonomy in service delivery while working directly with school clients.
