As a key member of our Laboratory Billing Services Department, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment, as well as providing exceptional service to patients. If you're a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we invite you to apply for this temporary opportunity. **Key Responsibilities:** * Handle incoming calls from patients and members, addressing issues related to: + Member eligibility + Plan prescription benefits + Claim payment + Patient services needs, such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling * Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education * Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns to senior team members when necessary * Maintain accurate records and data entry in our electronic medical records system (Epic EMR) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient issues * Stay up-to-date on arenaflex policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements **Essential Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) * Two years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician's office setting, specifically in Laboratory services * Experience registering patients preferred * High Volume call center experience preferred * Epic EMR experience preferred * Data entry skills **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working in a medical insurance setting * Knowledge of medical billing and coding principles * Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (EMRs) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to investing in our employees' growth and development.
