Reports To: Samantha Skvaril, LCPC
Location: Remote (Illinois); possibility of moving to hybrid/in-person
Employment Type: Full-time (18+ client hours/week)
Company Overview
Conscious Therapy Connections, PLLC is a small, values-driven private practice offering fully remote, neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed psychotherapy. We specialize in working with adults navigating ADHD, AuDHD, Autism, and related neurodivergent experiences. We believe therapy is political, that silence is not neutrality, and that clients deserve therapists who can hold the real world in the therapy room.
At Conscious Therapy Connections, we explicitly stand for:
• Reproductive justice and full bodily autonomy
• LGBTQIA+ and trans safety
• Anti-racism and collective liberation
• Neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed care
• Immigrant rights and human dignity
• Honesty, humility, and humanity in the therapy room
We are currently in-network with BCBS, UHC, Aetna, and Cigna. Our client base skews toward adults navigating ADHD, AuDHD, Autism, life transitions, and identity development. We believe clinicians do their best work when they feel supported, well-paid, and respected.
The Role
We are looking for a fully licensed clinician (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) with meaningful clinical experience working with neurodivergent adults, particularly those navigating ADHD and AuDHD.
Because our practice specializes in neurodivergence, your caseload will reflect that. You don't need this to be your forever niche, but you do need to bring genuine experience, clinical skill, and comfort working with this population from day one.
You'll provide relationally informed mental health care to adults and, optionally, adolescents while supporting the mission and core values of Conscious Therapy Connections, PLLC.
Essential Responsibilities
• Provide empirically informed, theoretically grounded, and culturally responsive psychotherapy
• Complete clinical documentation (intakes, progress notes, treatment plans, risk assessments) in TherapyNotes within 24 hours of the session and before billing
• Maintain a caseload that includes neurodivergent clients, particularly those navigating ADHD and AuDHD
• Participate in individual consultation as needed
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, operational staff, and external systems in a culturally attuned and relationally ethical manner
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines
• Provide timely responses to current or prospective clients and offer appropriate referrals when needs fall outside the scope of services
• Demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development, particularly related to neurodivergence, trauma-informed care, and relational intervention
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager for business necessity
Clinical Competencies
You should have direct experience working with:
• Adults navigating ADHD, AuDHD, and Autism, including late-identified and self-identified clients
• Executive functioning challenges, emotional dysregulation, and rejection sensitivity
• Shame, internalized self-criticism, and masking
• Anxiety, depression, and burnout, particularly as they co-occur with neurodivergence
• Trauma and complex trauma
• Life transitions and identity exploration
• LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse clients
• Culturally responsive, anti-oppressive clinical practice
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in a license-eligible discipline
• Full clinical licensure in Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD)
• Minimum of one year postgraduate clinical experience providing therapy
• Demonstrated clinical experience working with neurodivergent adults
Additional Requirements
We recognize that people work differently, and we mean it. This role requires the ability to provide attentive, engaged clinical care via telehealth, complete written documentation clearly and effectively, and manage a caseload with appropriate support. If you need accommodations to do your best work, we want to know. We will work with you.
Compensation
Compensation is based on a 65/35 split of collected revenue.
The Practice Provides
• EHR access (TherapyNotes)
• Insurance credentialing and billing
• Client referrals and marketing
• Work-life balance with no evening or weekend requirements
• Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance available
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Paid licensure renewals
• 401k with future plans for company match
• Supportive management team
• CEU opportunities and yearly stipend (currently working on structure)
• PTO (currently working on structure)
