Role Overview
Welo Data is seeking experienced linguists to support a synthetic data generation program for a leading technology client. As a Translation Validator, you will independently review machine-generated translations from English into Indic languages, helping to evaluate and improve the quality of AI-generated content.
What You Will Do
Review English source documents alongside two machine-generated Indonesian translations, evaluate both variants, select the preferred translation, and provide a written justification for your assessment.

Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Indonesian (written and spoken)
- Strong written communication skills in the target language
- Background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment preferred
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and consistency
- Familiarity with Romanized script conventions for the relevant language is a plus (for transliteration tasks)
