About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Consultant to join our team at Novalink Solutions LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing modern, intuitive user interfaces that enhance user engagement and streamline business processes.
This role requires direct interaction with business users to gather requirements, understand workflows, and translate them into functional prototypes and designs. The consultant will work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders within an agile environment, employing a user-centered approach to problem-solving and product development. The candidate will proactively identify areas for improvement within existing products and contribute to the development of a comprehensive product roadmap.
Additionally, this role involves researching and developing UI components using prototyping tools, ensuring compliance with coding standards, and integrating front-end designs with backend systems such as ASP.NET MVC applications.
Qualifications The successful candidate must possess at least 8 years of verifiable experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of translating user requirements into compelling graphical interfaces. Expertise in front-end development technologies including HTML, Bootstrap, Fluent UI framework, CSS, and JavaScript is essential, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience.
Strong knowledge of site architecture and designing intuitive navigation systems is required, supported by at least 5 years of experience. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and the ability to quickly adapt to new emerging tools are highly valued.
Experience working within Agile methodologies for at least 8 years, particularly in delivering projects from inception to completion, is mandatory. Candidates should also have demonstrated experience with ASP.NET C# development, especially in ASP.NET Core MVC applications, with a minimum of 5 years. UI/UX certifications are highly desirable, along with experience in creating secure, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces.
Additional expertise in designing detailed user journey maps, conversational workflows, and implementing secure coding practices will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities The UI/UX Consultant will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to gather and analyze UI requirements. They will design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user-friendly interfaces that support complex business workflows.
The role involves participating in all stages of product development, from discovery and research to final design implementation. Conducting user research and testing prototypes to validate design choices is crucial, along with iterating on concepts based on user feedback. The consultant will collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to brainstorm solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Creating and maintaining a reusable 'Design System' library to promote consistency across products is also part of the responsibilities. Ensuring seamless UI handoff to development teams, adhering to security standards, and integrating front-end designs with backend systems are key tasks. The role requires active participation in Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews to facilitate smooth development cycles.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, leading large design initiatives, and managing competing priorities are essential aspects of this position. The candidate must possess excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills to effectively build consensus among diverse stakeholders and team members.
