ABOUT VET TOGETHER
Vet Together is an invitation-only conference where veterinary practice decision-makers meet pre-vetted, top-tier vendors through pre-scheduled, one-on-one appointments where business is done right. We’re growing our sales team and looking for a sharp, relationship-driven inside sales rep to help us recruit the right practices.
THE ROLE
This role is responsible for driving attendee recruitment for Vet Together — identifying, qualifying, and securing the right veterinary practices and corporate entities for our hosted-buyer event. You’ll own your pipeline from first contact through confirmed attendance, and serve as the first point of contact between prospective attendees and the Vet Together brand. This is a high-activity, relationship-driven role where consistency and follow-through matter as much as the pitch.
• Prospect and connect with veterinary practice owners, medical directors, practice managers, and decision-makers via phone, email, and outbound outreach campaigns
• Qualify attendees against defined criteria — purchasing authority, practice size, and event fit — to ensure a high-value room for both sides
• Clearly communicate the value of the hosted-buyer model — why Vet Together is worth the time, what attendees get out of it, and how it differs from a traditional trade show
• Support confirmed attendees through logistics and pre-event communication, including travel coordination, scheduling, and answering questions leading up to the event
• Maintain accurate CRM records, manage your pipeline in real time, and provide weekly progress reporting against targets
• Meet defined activity and conversion targets — including outreach volume, qualified attendee rate, and confirmed registrations — on a weekly and monthly basis
• Required attendance at Vet Together and potential participation in additional events throughout the year.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Background in the veterinary industry — clinical, practice management, sales, or corporate operations — and a genuine understanding of how veterinary businesses make decisions
• Proven inside sales or outbound recruitment experience, with a track record you can speak to — call volume, conversion rates, or quota attainment
• Familiarity with veterinary corporate structure, group practice purchasing dynamics, and how decisions get made across multiple stakeholders
• Confident, professional phone presence and strong written communication — you know how to get a response without being pushy
• Hands-on CRM experience and the organizational habits to keep a busy pipeline clean and current
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment — you don’t need to be managed to stay motivated, and you communicate proactively when things come up
★ Bonus: Experience working with corporate veterinary groups or multi-location practices is a significant plus. You’ll regularly speak with decision-makers managing multiple locations.
