Hamilton Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! Our mission is to care for our clients' pets as though they were our own, and our front desk team plays a vital role in creating a compassionate and welcoming experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do
Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations
Manage lobby flow, schedule appointments, and assist with client concerns
Help handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners while ensuring safety and calm communication
Assist clients with medication pickups, service questions, and product information
Input and manage data within practice management software, including billing and accounts
Process retail sales, faxes, and medical records
Reconcile the cash drawer and complete end-of-day financial duties accurately
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine
High school diploma or GED
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Ability to perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently
Comfort working in a fast-paced veterinary environment
Ability to stand, walk, and work at a workstation for extended periods as needed
Experience with Avimark is preferred but not required
2+ years of veterinary experience preferred
