Video Editor, Contract | Fully Remote | Flexible Hours | Project-Based Engagement
Salary Range: Earn Up to 50,000 to 80,000 PKR/month, based on hours worked
About This Opportunity
We're looking for a fast, creative, and reliable Video Editor to join us on a contract basis and help with on-demand video editing work. You'll work across a mix of internal, client-facing, and social content, turning raw recordings into polished, on-brand videos that actually land with the audience.
What You'll Do
Edit Company and Product Videos: Produce showcase videos, product walkthroughs, and demo content that communicate value clearly and professionally.
Polish Client and Team Recordings: Take raw, messy recordings from team sessions, client meetings, and internal calls, and turn them into clean, structured, shareable content.
Create Short-Form Content: Cut and package short-form clips for social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, with strong hooks and tight pacing.
Handle Presentation and Internal Videos: Edit internal and external presentation videos, training content, and announcement clips.
Do the Clean-Up Work: Handle the basics well. Trimming, captions, transitions, audio cleanup, color, and polish.
Use AI to Move Faster: Incorporate AI tools into your workflow to generate B-roll, captions, voiceovers, thumbnails, hooks, and other creative assets.
What We're Looking For
Core Editing Skills
Editing Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
Pacing and Structure: A clear eye for rhythm, flow, and visual storytelling. You know when to cut and when to hold.
Clean Visuals: Solid grasp of composition, typography, motion, and color for a polished final output.
AI Tool Fluency (Must-Have)
AI in the Workflow: You already use AI tools in your editing process, not as an experiment but as part of how you ship faster.
Practical Applications: Experience with AI video generation, auto-captions, AI voiceovers (ElevenLabs or similar), thumbnail generation, B-roll sourcing or generation, and hook or script assistance.
Work Style
Speed Without Sacrificing Quality: You can turn things around quickly without the output feeling rushed or sloppy.
Understands the Goal: You think about why a video exists, not just how to stitch clips together. You can take a brief and make decisions that serve the intent.
Responsive and Easy to Work With: Clear communication, reasonable availability, and low friction on revisions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with motion graphics or simple animation (After Effects, basic 2D animation).
Sound design and audio mixing skills beyond the basics.
Thumbnail design and static graphic work for YouTube, LinkedIn, or landing pages.
Experience editing for founder-led or personal brand content.
Familiarity with brand systems and keeping a consistent look across a library of videos.
Basic scripting or copywriting instincts for hooks, captions, and on-screen text.
Compensation
Monthly Earning Potential: Up to 50,000 to 80,000 PKR/month, based on hours worked.. You are paid for every hour you work. Hours are tracked and verified through our standard time-tracking process, with payments made on a regular cycle. Duration and extension depend on project needs and performance.
Work Environment
Remote First — Work from wherever you're most productive.
Flexible Hours — Availability between 6pm and 12am PKT is required for team overlap and collaboration.
Technical Project Management — Our PMs have development backgrounds. Expect clear communication, realistic timelines, and collaboration grounded in what actually ships.
