Instead of traditional instruction, you'll serve as the mentor every learner needs—someone who provides daily encouragement and facilitates the development of crucial life competencies through engaging, experiential workshops.
This position focuses on igniting ambitious thinking, guiding students as they pursue their objectives, and enabling them to recognize their full potential—not on overseeing a conventional virtual classroom. What You Will Be Doing
• Facilitating engaging virtual workshops focused on building essential life skills including collaboration, effective communication, entrepreneurial thinking, and creative self-expression
• Guiding students through immersion track experiences using experiential, project-driven learning methods
• Establishing a supportive, dynamic virtual environment where students are encouraged to take risks and develop
• Leveraging learning analytics and student data to personalize guidance and motivation for each individual
• Working alongside educators from diverse time zones and cultural backgrounds to provide a compelling, adaptable learning experience
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Instructing students in traditional academic subjects (our AI tutors manage those)
• Adhering to inflexible schedules or prescribed teaching frameworks
• Conducting lecture-based, one-way learning sessions
Virtual Learning Facilitator Key Responsibilities
Empower students worldwide to develop into assured problem-solvers by facilitating immersive workshops focused on life skills within a virtual-first, flexible educational setting.
Basic Requirements
• Valid US teaching certificate from any state
• Confident virtual facilitation skills; at ease leading sessions via video
• Available to start by the end of July
Nice-to-have Requirements
• Fluency in Spanish (especially valuable for our immersion track)
• Prior experience facilitating bilingual workshops, extracurricular clubs, or enrichment programs
• Experience with project-based learning, creative education models, or alternative school environments

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
